Virtual Symposium: Expanding Erectile Dysfunction Management: Novel Applications of PDE5 Inhibitor Therapy
This CME program devotes particular attention to the relationship between erectile dysfunction (ED) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) with associated lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) and suggests how to improve both ED and BPH/LUTS when they coexist. The program also addresses issues on how clinicians can select a PDE5 inhibitor and dosage schedule based on individual pharmacokinetic properties of PDE5 inhibitors, patient and partner preference, and the couple's sexual routine. The faculty also provides valuable insight into how clinicians can educate patients about proper use of PDE5 inhibitors through communication and dialogue that puts the patient and his partner at ease.
Please remember, to receive CME credit for this activity, you must complete the evaluation and posttest on-line or download the PDF file, complete the forms, and fax the forms to 877-403-5765 or mail to

Special Report of the 6th Scientific Sessions & General Assembly of the Consortium for Improvement in Erectile Function
In September 2006, the CIEF faculty convened in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to discuss the current state of identification, diagnosis, and treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) and to use these as a springboard for debate. This continuing medical education (CME) publication, The 6th Scientific Sessions & General Assembly of the Consortium for Improvement in Erectile Function: Special Report, was developed based on the discussions and interaction at this meeting.
